EASY RETURNS
If for any reason you need to return an item please first read the important information below:
A lot of the products we sell are hobby grade models and it is normal for beginners to sometimes struggle when using these for the first time and therefore think there may be a problem with the product. With a little help and advice a lot of beginners who thought they may have a problem actually find they were just making a simple mistake and that their model is in perfect working order.
Obviously we try to prevent people sending models back, because these models are RC hobby items and sometimes minor problems are experienced during setup. Plus if there is no manufacturers fault found upon return, a labour/testing fee and return carriage will be due at a total cost of approximately £25. Therefore it is always recommended you contact the tech team first on 01625 610031.
If the problem is not resolved after speaking with the tech team then you are welcome to send the model back to our supplier directly to avoid further delay. This can be done by visiting http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/returns.php
Sending the model back however does not automatically mean that the model is eligible for a warranty repair/ replacement/ refund, as we must determine the state of the model once it has been returned.
If the model is found to have a manufacturers fault, then we can repair/replace the model free of charge. It is important to also note that on nitro/ petrol models, once fuel has gone into the tank, the only parts covered by warranty are the radio gear and the engine. This is a limited warranty and does not cover damage caused by mis-tuning of the engine or damaged caused by trying to start the model incorrectly - i.e. being to heavy handed with a pull cord or incorrectly setting up the model for use.
If no faults can be found or replicated, or the faults are found to be due to mis-use, then the warranty claim will not be entertained, and this will incur a £15 labour/testing fee, £10 return carriage and the cost of any replacement parts if required. It is important that you are aware of this prior to returning the item.
If you are returning an item due to a technical issue please ensure that you email info@radiocontrolledmachines.com first with the subject title 'RETURNS'.
ALL ITEMS THAT ARE RETURNED ARE DONE SO AT THE COST OF THE CUSTOMER, WHETHER THEY ARE FAULTY OR NOT.
Once we have received you email and satisfied the item is faulty we shall issue you a returns number and address to return the item too.
Important the returns address will most certainly differ from our head office address so DO NOT return items here.
All parcels will be rejected if returned without an authorised returns number. Shipping costs are your responsibility for returned items unless previously agreed.
